Yesterday and Today

Update time... yay...
Saturday: Went to the Japanese language contest. Didn't get to participate, because Sheeran-sensei didn't tell us about it, so we didn't get to sign up in advance. =/ Oh well, it was fun watching everybody else. My brother placed 5th in the Intermediate-Advanced Kanji Bee. ^_^
Today I woke up at 10:30 and started making the Nikuman at 11... finished at 3. They were tasty. ^_^ I went walking with Alicia at 4:30, got back at 5:30.

Not Much + Viruses + No More Shyness

Today was alright. There's not really much to say about it, though.
I got 3 viruses on my computer. AVG was only able to get rid of one. If I let it run every night, it'll get rid of it eventually, that's what happened last time when it had trouble getting rid of it. :x
I decided I'm going to abandon being shy. I'm also not going to let people push me around, I'm gonna stick up for myself. It'll be tough to do, I know, but I'm gonna do it.

Good News + Bad News + Music
Good news about today:
I got a C as my quarter grade in Geo.
I got a B- as my quarter grade in Japanese.
I got a bunch of A papers back in English. Dunno my quarter grade.
Bad news about today:
I failed the Band test that we did before Spring Break. 8/20. And, due to the fact that it was before Spring Break, we can't redo the test. This is the only test we haven't been able to redo. I got fifth chair out of six clarinets. This wouldn't be so bad if Band wasn't one of my 3 best classes... but it is. So it's a big deal to me. =/ Oh well. I dunno my quarter grade, though.
Why do some people make a big deal over music that people listen to? Honestly, if someone likes a certain band, can't you just accept that? It's not the end of the world. I don't listen to any music JUST to be 'cool', because that's just foolish. I listen to the music I listen to because I like it. I listen to lots of different artists that do different styles of music. Daft Punk, The Darkness, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Do As Infinity, Click-B, Shinhwa, Nylon Beat, Rush, Nickelback, Tenacious D, Yellowcard, Trapt, etc. I listen to all different groups because I like different types of music. People need to get over it. -_-;

Fatal Frame + Other Stuff

I beat Fatal Frame this morning. I want to see the other ending too... but I have to beat freaking Nightmare Mode to get it. And to unlock Nightmare Mode, I have to beat Battle Mode... that can wait. @_@; But it was a good ending, and a tough final battle, that's for sure.
I played some more Lunar 2: Eternal Blue & Final Fantasy IX... nothing much to say about those.
I get to see Rush in concert this summer. I am excited. ^__^

Rental + Birthday + Fatal Frame

Today we went to Video Library, and we rented three things. Dumb & Dumberer, Lost in Translation, and Fatal Frame (oh no, you would've NEVER guessed. XD). Afterwords we headed to the store to get some Robitussin for mom, and I got a Dr. Pepper. XP
When we got home, Baron told us that Aunt Cheech called to say that my cousin Dan's birthday party thing was today. We totally forgot. >_> So we went for about three hours, we had to go home because my left eye was getting very red & I kept sneezing. I think I'm developing an allergy to cats, because they have so many and this happens everytime I go over there.
When I got home, I brought up one of the downstairs TVs and the PS2, and played Fatal Frame. Alicia came over after awhile, because I'm a wuss and couldn't play it without someone with me. I mean damn, that game is FREAKING SCARY. I know this from Wednesday/Thursday, but man. It's so much scarier when YOU'RE the one controlling Miku. That part in the Rubble Room where you go to the back and the blind lady appeared made me jump. Literally. x_x;
At about 9, we stopped playing Fatal Frame. I got to the 2nd night, and I forgot to save my picture of Calamity! ;___; Oh well. We watched Cardcaptor Sakura after that because we were scared. Heh.

Fatal Frame + Gaia + Furnace x.x

It's about 6 AM and I just woke up... figured I'd update now.
I've become completely obsessed with Fatal Frame. Yeah, it scared the crap out of me, but still... the story line is just so gripping... so amazing. Too bad it's RARE to find in stores now. But, I did find it. I called 10 stores and found it at 1 store... BUT, it's $48.84. So dad won't let me buy it, due to the fact that he's gonna be out of a job in a few weeks. That's understandable, at least...
I got a giftbox event thing on Gaia. That's cool. I got the Angelic Headband, it's nifty! XD Michelle got a Nightmare Headband, it's so awesome. *_* I'm jealous. XP Here's my current avatar:

Yesterday + this morning + Tekken 4 fun
- "Rock 'n Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" // AC/DC
So yesterday was fun... let me recap it.
10 AM: Ashley & Kelly come over. Fatal Frame time!
3 PM: Finish with Fatal Frame. (well, we got to the 2nd night). Tekken time.
4:30 PM: Finish with Tekken. Mess around with my stuff in my room, then go outside.
6 PM: Mom gives an okay for Ashley & Kelly to spend the night.
6:30 PM: Ashley, Kelly, & I go with Ashley's mom to go get Kelly's stuff, then go to Video Library. We rented Ehrgeiz at VL. Then, we went to QuickTrip and loaded up on snacks. XD We got 2 bags of Cheetos, Ashley got a pack of M&M's, I got 2 boxes of Mentos (1 strawberry and 1 cinnamon, the two new kinds. Yes!) and a tube of M&M's minis, and Kelly got one of those sugary sour rope thingies. We each got a 2 liter of pop. I got Dr. Pepper (of course), Ashley got Sprite, and Kelly got Root Beer.
7 PM: Return to my house. We played some Ehrgeiz, then watched Eight Crazy Nights. After that, we played Tekken. Something funny happened with that, but that will be explained later. Then we watched Little Nicky, and Ashley & Kelly fell asleep. I watched Wayne's World and fell asleep during that.
This morning we woke up and played some Fatal Frame. We got to the beginning of the 3rd night. Then we played some more Tekken.
It was funny yesterday, because me and Ashely kept having Jin vs. Jin fights on Tekken. XD Once we had a double K.O. on the first round, then we did a double K.O. the second round, leading to a draw. XD Then the next one, Ashley won the first round, then I won the second round, then we did a double K.O. the third round. Two draws in a row. XD It was funny.

Okay, pitas wasn't working yesterday, so I couldn't update...
I didn't do much yesterday. Spring break is kinda boring for me because I don't really do anything. I went to the grocery store yesterday... got some more mentos. ^_^ They were all out of the new cinnamon kind though, and I really wanted to try it. =( They didn't have any fruit kind either.
I watched that new 'Cracking Up' show yesterday, too. I mainly watched it because Jack Black was on it, and he is the greatest XD That, and Molly Shannon from SNL stars in it, and the guy who played Shooter McGavin in Happy Gilmore. Anyway, it was so hillarious. XD
I've become addicted to Gaia. My name on there is Searc (Irish name, pronounced SHARK).

Ack! I apologize for not updating the past few days...
Friday: Early dismissal, start of spring break. Went to a birthday party. Got a call from my cousin Angela on my cell, but I didn't pick it up because it was long distance... plus, at the time I didn't know it was her.
Saturday: Had doughtnuts and cake for breakfast. Went to the grocery store, got juice and sushi. Slept from 2PM to about 6:30PM. Got to sleep at about 2AM.
And... today is Sunday. I haven't really done anything today, as I only woke up about 25 minutes ago. =P I'm off~

Hrm... I don't have much to say about today.
I failed my band test. My brain just flew out the window. I mean damn, I had been PRACTICING the scale we had to memorize for the test, and I totally forgot it when I had to play it. T___T I'm gonna re-take it (because we're allowed to do that)... I've never done something like that before. ._.;
Early dismissal tomorrow. Since I'm a CIS (Center for International Studies) student, I only have 4 classes at my home school... which means I get to get out after 4th block rather than 7th (CIS gets cancelled on early dismissal days), so I get out at 10:15 rather than 1:10. ^_^
I have a cold. I keep sneezing... x_x

Birthday shopping: DONE!

I just got back from the Korean store, where I got ALL of my birthday shopping for Diane & Kelly done. Phew.
Diane: Cinnamoroll (Sanrio character) mug+plushie, White (Orange Story character) mini-journal keychain
Kelly: Click-B 3.5 CD, Click-B 4 CD
The lady gave me a card to give to Kelly too. I also bought Click-B 4 & Shinhwa 5 for myself. They were having a Buy 1 Get 1 Free special, so mom let me get 2 CDs for Kelly and 2 for myself =P Mom also got me some green hair dye *_*
I wrote Happy Birthday on Kelly's card in Japanese, and the lady thought that was cool... I told her I also knew a bit of Korean, and she told me if I was interested, there's a Korean class every Saturday, and gave me the lady's phone number. *happy*
I'm out. I have a bit of Geo to do.

Today was okay.

Today was alright, I guess.
English: Did more Romeo & Juliet stuff. During DOL time, we got to listen to Led Zeppelin. =D That made my day.
Band: Practiced Spirit of Avalon most of the time. We got to test out the new speakers we got with a jazz CD. *___* Those speakers are AWESOME. Just wow. We practiced Ride With the Wind for the last 5-10 minutes or so.
Geo: Worked on our Africa project stuff.
Japanese: Did questions, and now we're writing pretend penpal letters for homework.
After school, Baron got his Saxophone from the van and went back inside... he was staying after school for a band thing with a couple of friends. And, mom bought me some more Mentos! XD *happy* I'm a Mentos addict. =P She bought me a box of Mint ones and a box of Fruit ones. She also bought me a Root Beer, but it turned out to be flat. Oh well. XD

This is my first entry. I've actually had three past blogs on here, but yeah...
For those wondering, 'tanchou' is Japanese for 'minor', as in the musical minor key. Music is my life... ^^;
I guess I should put an intro here. My name is Megan. I'm 14. I'm a guitar player, though I'm not very good. ._.; I can play one song, and that's "Haruka Kanata" by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. I'm also currently learning "Duvet" by Boa. I want to learn lots of classic rock songs, as that's my inspiration to play (I've been listening to classic rock since I was born). I should've done a LOT more guitar playing when I was younger. I was just too lazy. Hrm.
